{"id":995,"date":"2023-07-25T14:57:33","date_gmt":"2023-07-25T14:57:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.anvp.cl\/?p=995"},"modified":"2023-07-25T14:57:33","modified_gmt":"2023-07-25T14:57:33","slug":"conferencia-ernesto-vargas-expone-en-obligations-x-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.anvp.cl\/en\/conferencia-ernesto-vargas-expone-en-obligations-x-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Conferencia: Ernesto Vargas expone en Obligations X Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La semana pasada nuestro socio Ernesto Vargas, actualmente<em>&nbsp;College Lecturer&nbsp;<\/em>del Selwyn College de la Universidad de Cambridge, present\u00f3 el trabajo \u201cEstado e Ideolog\u00eda en el desarrollo del moderno derecho de bienes\u201d (<em>State and Ideology in the delineation of modern property law<\/em>) en la&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/law.uwo.ca\/conferences\/obligationsx\/index.html#:~:text=Obligations%20X%20%E2%80%93%20Private%20Law%20and,from%2011%E2%80%9314%20July%202023.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">d\u00e9cima edici\u00f3n de la&nbsp;<em>Obligations Conference&nbsp;<\/em>(<em>Obligations X<\/em>)<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Comparando la experiencia de Inglaterra, los Estados Unidos y Alemania, este trabajo argumenta que los Estados modernos delinean el derecho de propiedad mediante tres t\u00e9cnicas que tienen interacciones y tensiones rec\u00edprocas que son resueltas en diferentes formas dependiendo de c\u00f3mo el Estado es percibido en cada jurisdicci\u00f3n: el&nbsp;<em>numerus clausus<\/em>&nbsp;de derechos reales, el surgimiento del Estado regulador y una forma espec\u00edfica de activismo judicial contempor\u00e1nea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El panel fue presidido por Larissa Katz (Toronto) y los otros presentadores fueron Ben McFarlane (Oxford) y Yael Lifshitz (King\u2019s College London). La conferencia tuvo lugar entre el 11 y 14 de julio en Banff (Canad\u00e1) y fue organizada por Western Law bajo el tema \u201cDerecho Privado y el Estado\u201d (<em>Private Law and the State<\/em>).\u00a0<em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.obsconf.com.\/\" target=\"_blank\">Obligations<\/a><\/em>\u00a0es probablemente la conferencia de derecho privado m\u00e1s importante del mundo angloparlante. La conferencia re\u00fane acad\u00e9micos de todo\u00a0<em>common law<\/em>\u00a0y la admisi\u00f3n a presentar en ella es altamente selectiva. La conferencia tiene lugar cada dos a\u00f1os, pero no se reun\u00eda desde 2018 debdo a la pandemia del Covid-19.
