He has extensive experience in resolving high-value disputes. He has led legal teams in corporate, contractual, tax, energy, foreign investment, mining, mergers and acquisitions, and telecommunications matters. His practice includes preparing legal opinions and expert reports on mining law, procedural law and professional secrecy. He is an Associate Professor of Legal Ethics at the University of Chile Law School and has published widely on the subject. He was previously a partner at Philippi, Yrarrázaval, Pulido & Brunner (now PPU Legal) (2000–2010), and took part in the international program of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in New York (1995). Within the legal profession, he served on the drafting committee of the Code of Ethics of the Chilean Bar Association (Colegio de Abogados de Chile A.G.) (2011), coordinating the working group on the duty of confidentiality.
